I have a deep passion for Purpurata's and their hybrids, why? because they grow so well here in our harsh climate, no heat required, tough as blazes and the flower! how can't anyone be mesmerized by an 8" flower. This is a seedling I've raised from a flask, I didn't manage to get many thru to this stage but this is a selfing of a large plant I have (sanguinea x venosa), pic is of the mother plant flower, big bold beautiful, opens up fully and is a great plant, I'm hoping these will be the same, this will need repotting
